Kim Birtel runs the Surfclub Altona in Hamburg – a club that dedicates its time and money for the kids in need. Because not everyone (especially kids) is able to just go surfing or even just getting close to the ocean, Kim and his crew organise trips for these kids who couldn´t afford that experience.
Kim tells us how it came to the idea of starting this social surf project, what surfing tought him and how this sport benefits the lifes of the kids and their families, what everyone could do to support this beautfiful project and lots of more…
